It is a rare opportunity for residents and community leaders to come together about Venice’s most pressing issues, including crime and homelessness. Venice’s City Councilmember Mike Bonin will open Venice Life by laying out his vision for Venice. Other panelists include Venice’s LAPD Sr. Lead Officer Peggy Thusing, who will discuss LAPD’s new strategies for managing crime in Venice, and Venice Neighborhood Council Vice-President Marc Saltzberg, who will take a look at how we can keep Venice livable in the face of its being one of the most popular destination areas in the world. Venice Life’s co-sponsors include the Venice Neighborhood Council, the Venice Chamber of Commerce and the Westside Impact Project.
